Feels Like Home - Peters Project

Moving will always provide its own challenges and the key to a successful move-in is to just roll with the punches! Some new homes will come with structural design flaws and you oftentimes find yourself in a moment of "Where was I when they were designing this place!?" Other challenges can be due to the transition from one home to the next, like our experience with the Peters Project!
I recently had the pleasure of unpacking and decorating Mrs.Peters new condo in Oakville and a transitional challenge presented itself!! Her beautiful new condo features amazing high ceilings, but we wanted to install the same window panels as her previous home. Once we got them hanging it looked like her apartment was prepared for a flood!! Challenge accepted panels!! Stay tuned for how I DIY'ed the panels to make them work in the new space!!
Before
This project became a fun experience for the team once we found out that the client was going on vacation shortly after move in day! We took that opportunity to complete the project while she was away and in turn provide a lovely surprise upon her return home! For me the satisfaction comes from seeing the reaction on the clients face when they get to see their new place unpacked and finally feeling like HOME and this was one for the books!!
