Here at VDS Designs we do our best to shy away from gender norms when it comes to interiors. Everyone's decor style varies exponentially but one thing remains the same: no one colour or style is specific to a gender!
That being said the true bias lays for males when it comes to colour in interior...as well as fashion! Society norms say that a 'bachelor pad' should't be layered in pink or purple but we are always here to tell you this isn't true!! You can truly take any colour inspiration and make it your own but here are 2 easy ways to 'Man-Up' your Amethyst inspired interior this February!
1. Leather > Fabric
Going for a pop of purple in your space can really look masculine by incorporating it through leather! Its a timeless decor statement that adds a level of sophistication no matter what colour it comes in...

2. Light Fixtures
Choose a light fixture that is anything but sparkly and you're sure to add some masculine flair back into your space. Take for example this interior that has a bold purple wall complimented with a geometric light fixture...it's definitely a large purple feature wall but suitable for the bachelor in all of us!
